“Greatest” Cowboy Fan Updates His Backyard Football Field

Joe Hernandez of El Paso wanted to pay tribute to his favorite NFL team. So, in January, Joe decided to build his very own replica of the Dallas Cowboy field at AT&T stadium. Soon afterward, a picture of the field went viral.

Now Joe has decided to up his game. He has replaced the natural grass field with artificial turf. This new turf more closely resembles the field at AT&T. Complete with the big blue star in the middle of the field. Joe has paid close attention to the details including the hash marks and the blue turf in the end zones.

Joe has spent thousands of dollars and countless hours to build his tribute to his favorite team. Joe says he didn't do it for fame or money. He simply wants the Cowboy organization to know he loves his boyz. He also did it for his children Bennie, Sophia and his wife Elva.
