Great, Locally-Owned Veteran’s Businesses You Can Support For Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day and many businesses are offering discounts and freebies for veterans to thank them for their service. If you don't have a business that you can give a discount or free item for veterans, there are still plenty of ways to honor and support our retired military.

El Paso is a military town, and Fort Bliss is one of the biggest military bases in the country. We are lucky to have so many of America's heroes living right here and they are a big part of our community. After serving in the armed forces, many military personnel retired and made El Paso their permanent home. Some went to school, others started businesses and they all continued to make the Borderland their home.

Veterans Day is a great opportunity for El Pasoans to support veteran's owned businesses they know and love, but also find hidden gems they may not have known about before.

The Facebook group "Support El Paso" asked their members if they knew of any veteran-owned businesses locally or if they themselves were a veteran and wanted to promote their business. The group members happily started posting their own businesses and others they knew were owned by veterans right here in El Paso.
