Summertime means summer camp time for the kids. If you want your kids to learn how kids used to do things in the late 1800s, get them enrolled in one of many camps scheduled this summer at the historic Magoffin Home.

The first camp will teach kids how to craft like they did when the Magoffin family still occupied the home. Kids can learn to make kaleidoscopes, knit, and be able to take their crafts home. Your kids will not only learn how to do the crafts but learn about the history of crafting as well as the science and math behind each craft.

Kids will have to bring a sack lunch with them and dress in clothing suitable for crafting. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Call the Magoffin Home Visitor Center at
