Gene Roddenberry Planetarium Adds Additional June Public Shows
Space awaits families interested in learning about our solar system.
If you're looking for something free, fun and educational to do with the kids, boldly go to a free show at the Gene Roddenberry Planetarium. And -- bonus! -- it's a cheap, entertaining way to beat the June heat.
While The Roddenberry is primarily used for educating El Paso’s students about the wonders of the cosmos, it also offers opportunities for the general public to visit the facility.
As previously reported, public shows recently resumed at the Roddenberry after a two-year hiatus. All the shows scheduled for May sold out within hours, but 12 new showtimes have been added.
What to Know If You Want to Go
Each show will have limited seating of 60 attendees per show.
Programming will include a "Tonight's Sky" talk and a full dome presentation of "From Earth to the Universe."
