Ascarate Park will turn into a Boogie Wonderland Friday night, y’all.

Disco down to the groovy sounds of Fungi Mungle, the band that put the fun in funk and the oogie in boogie, at Boogie after Sunset presented by El Paso County Parks & Recreation.

Mungle twins Joey and Jamey, and bandmates Gil, David, Cody, and Roman will be whipping up a Frenzy of Fun® with all the booty bumpin' music you can handle this Friday, September 27.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and the booty shakin’ gets underway at 7 p.m. In addition to the Mungle concert, food trucks, jumping balloons for the kids, and a beer garden for the adults will be part of the mix, per the event post.

County officials would like to remind you that taking your own alcohol is not allowed, however Platform shoes, bell bottoms and Afro wigs are more than welcome.
