In March, Frontier Airlines will be flying passengers non-stop from the Sun City to Sin City on Thursdays and Sundays.

Non-stop flights to Las Vegas aren’t new but if EP residents wanted to take the direct route to McCarran International Airport, they were obligated to fly Southwest.  I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with flying Southwest and many people will undoubtedly continue to do so, but the additional choice of airlines will hopefully lead to more flexibility and better fares for passengers.

The prospects of actually being able to not only travel but travel safely are beginning to look up as the COVID-19 vaccine began officially rolling out across the country this week.  While those vaccinations may not be available to many until later in 2021, it does provide some hope that people can begin transitioning from planning the perfect “staycation” to penciling in an honest to goodness, out of town getaway.
