Former UTEP Miners Football Players Sign Free Agent NFL Deals
Former UTEP Miners Roy Robertson-Harris, Kelvin Fisher Jr. and Cedrick Lang will all have the opportunity to officially make an NFL roster after they signed free agent deals at the conclusion of 2016 NFL Draft.
Defensive lineman Robertson-Harris signed his deal with the Chicago Bears while Fisher Jr. (Defensive Back) and former UTEP Basketball player, Cedrick Lang (Tight End) signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants respectively.
With all that is currently going on in pro sports, it was football, which is currently in its off-season that garnered the most attention over the weekend. So no matter how well (or poorly) you feel your team did during and after the draft, it’ll be nice rooting for these local boys to fulfill their dreams. You can read more about them HERE.
