Final ‘Cruise Ascarate’ of the Summer This Sunday

The return of cruise nights at Ascarate Park have become so popular El Paso County Parks & Recreation is doing it again.

The last "Cruise Ascarate" of the summer happens this Sunday, Sept. 22, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lower Valley county park, according to the event post.

Car clubs and car enthusiasts with classic cars and trucks, hot rods, and tricked-out euro cars are invited to show their ride pride and cruise the lake like back in the day.

Bring blankets and chairs and chill with the fam while celebrating the tradition of cruising in the park. Food trucks, and old school jams will be part of the mix as well. Aww, yeah. Suavecito be bumpin', y'all.
