El Pasoans have gotten fully vaccinated to almost 50% but now kids as young as 12 years old can now get vaccinated as well. The Pfizer vaccine is now available from the El Paso Community College. The Pfizer
COVID-19 vaccine was approved by the federal government for adolescents 12 and over last week and there are a number of places you can get your child vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. Now El Paso Community College is offering free COVID-19 vaccines every Friday.

To register, you will need your name, email address, and phone number. Just follow this link to get your date and time that you would like to have. Adolescents have to be accompanied by either their parent or guardian. El Paso Community College officials say that if you are currently experiencing symptoms of a cold or flu, cough, difficulty breathing, fever, headache, loss of taste or smell, if you would please consider waiting to register for your or your child's vaccine.

Adults can also get their vaccines at El Paso Community College. They are offering the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines for adults, and only Pfizer for kids 12 and older. All three COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers are working on testing their vaccines on children younger than 12 years old. The federal government says they are hoping to get children vaccinated ahead of the fall school semester.

Remember, the federal government says that if you are fully vaccinated you don't have to wear your mask indoors or outdoors but many businesses and entities are still requiring them even if you are fully vaccinated. Make sure you check before you go somewhere to find out about their mask policy.
