Taste of El Paso is November 12th and tickets are selling fast. To get you ready to eat some of the best food in El Paso, we’ll be previewing each of the restaurants and the dish they’ll be serving at the 2014 Taste of El Paso.

Eloise

Eloise restaurant and bar, located just off the hustle and bustle of North Mesa street on Shadow Mountain, is a quiet, Europoean-style cafe offering an array of food prepared thoughtfully by their head chef. During Taste of El Paso, they'll be serving three vegetarian items so hearty, even the biggest carnivores will be satisfied. Their first dish is a Moroccan salad with roasted root vegetables.

This salad, made with lentils, lettuce, red onion, and tomatoes, also features warm, roasted root vegetables like carrots, thinly-sliced beets, asparagus, and more. Tossed lightly with house dressing, this salad is absolutely delicious!

The second item they'll be serving is avocado toast. Dice-sized avocado chunks tossed in sweet citrus juice and topped with a few red pepper flakes. It's served atop toasted, locally baked, multi-grain toast.

The third Taste of El Paso dish from Eloise is a long green chile curry made with roaster chickpeas, cauliflower, spinach and Hatch green chiles. The curry is served with basmati and wild rice and topped with spiced walnuts and cilantro.
