El Paso’s Largest School Uniform Swap Going Down This Weekend

Families can take advantage of this year’s School Uniform Swap which will take place this weekend at Eastlake High School.  

Last year due to the pandemic, the school uniform swap did not take place as kids were learning remotely but as kids prepare to return this fall, school uniforms will be essential.  

The annual El Paso School Uniform Swap along with local Lion’s Club Chapters are coming together to help less fortunate families in the El Paso area with adequate uniforms for the new school year.

The School Uniform Swap returns this Saturday, July 17 to Eastlake High School, located at 13000 Emerald Pass Ave., in Horizon City from 8 a.m. to noon. 

This year parents can turn in used uniforms for a credit slip or donate outgrown uniforms to other students in need. Parents are advised to drop off uniforms now as vouchers are given out on a first come first serve basis. 

Parents can turn in used uniforms in exchange for a credit slip at the following locations:  

• National Self Storage, 10560 N. Loop Drive 
• Xtreme Core Fitness, 125 N. Kenazo Ave. Ste I 
• National Self Storage, 7620 N. Loop Drive 
• Progressive, 11930 Vista Del Sol, Suite A 
• Liberty Tax, 700 N. Zaragoza Suite AB 
• Farmers Insurance Elizabeth Correa Agency, 14200 Ashford St. Suite A-1 

Volunteers Needed 

• Organizers are also seeking volunteers – anyone interested in participating can show up at Eastlake High School from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well as the day of the event. 

For families who don’t need a credit slip and would like to donate uniforms can also consider donating to the Center Against Sexual & Family Violence. 

The non-profit organization is currently accepting gently used school uniforms of all sizes. Donations are currently being accepted at the Family Resource Center at 580 Giles Rd. Or at the following Fire Stations:
