Charlie Clark is primarily known for his car dealerships (Nissan El Paso) and commercials featuring his catchphrase, "Orale!.'

Now Hollywood is taking Clark's big personality and blowing it up on the big screen when Green Ghost & The Masters of The Stone hits theatres next month.

The interest in this movie came about after the success of Charlie Clark's weekly show called "Orale, Charlie!" in the early 2000s.

The show initially featured stories of Charlie growing up with his Nana and later incorporated the characters The Green Ghost and MexiCan, which leaned on humor to address issues affecting the Latino community, such as crime and immigration.

That same series has now transformed into a full-length feature film starring Charlie Clark as the Green Ghost in the hilarious anti-hero action movie along with Danny Trejo, Kuno Becker, Marko Zaror, Renee Victor (voice of Abuelita in Disney's-Pixar's film Coco) as Charlies' Nana, Sofia Pernas, Elpidia Carrillo, and Pepe Serna.

Apart from its famous lineup, award-winning filmmaker Micheal D. Olmos, the son of Edward James Olmos, serves as director and is produced by David Rodriguez, the brother of famed filmmaker Robert Rodriguez.

The trailer opens with Danny Trejo holding a flask while beating some guy down as Charlie Clark finds out his destiny is to help save the world.

The Green Ghost & The Masters of The Stone movie plot reads:

In a Texas border town, car salesman Charlie (CHARLIE CLARK) moonlights as a masked Lucha libre wrestler going by the name "Green Ghost." When unknown assailants arrive seeking an otherworldly emerald, Charlie discovers that he has super powers. As he learns to fight from the unconventional Master Gin (action film legend DANNY TREJO), Charlie is told that he's part of a secret warrior "triad of light" with his childhood friend Marco (KUNO BECKER) and Marco's sister Karina (SOFIA PERNAS) led by La Nana (RENEE VICTOR). Together, they've been chosen to protect humanity from Drake (MARKO ZAROR), the embodiment of the Mayan apocalypse. As a stargate is opened in a Mexican pyramid, Drake seeks the power to destroy humankind — and Charlie, linked to the power of the emerald, is the only one who can stop him. Charlie must harness both his physical and mystical strength to save humanity and go from Gringo to Green Ghost.

While the movie may look campy, I am down to check out Charlie Clark on the big screen alongside Danny Trejo and the rest of the crew battle the bad guys to save the world.
