Starting this Monday, El Paso families in need can pick up free, fresh produce thanks to Amistad and YWCA.

Amistad and YWCA are teaming up to distribute free and fresh produce for families in need in the El Paso area.

Ever since the novel coronavirus began back in March, El Paso families have been struggling to put food on the table. Organizations such as the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank has seen a dramatic and continued demand for emergency food boxes. Now, Amistad and YWCA are partnering up to help El Paso families during the pandemic by providing them with free fresh produce every Monday, beginning August 31, 2020.

The free fresh produce will be distributed via drive-through so avoid contact and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Families are encouraged to take advantage of the free produce every Monday being distributed out of the Amistad location off of Dyer St.
