OH BOY: You Will Be Able to Visit Disneyland Starting in July

As the city and the rest of the country has been reopening, I know of several people here in El Paso that were waiting on the news as to when they can make a trip to Disneyland, and t looks like those plans can be scheduled for July.  This is welcome news to many El Pasoans whose summers just wouldn’t be complete without a visiting Mickey, Minnie, and friends.

Disney announced they are making arrangements to open Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in Southern California as early as July 17 and a shopping area on July 9.  If Florida is your destination of choice to visit the world’s most famous mouse, The Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park will open on July 11 with EPCOT and their Hollywood Studios parks opening on July 15.

Capacity will be limited for Disneyland and California Adventure so make sure to get those advanced reservations in order before buying your plane tickets and making hotel reservations.

California Theme Park Open Dates:

• July 17, 2020 - Disneyland and Disney California Adventure

Florida Theme Park Open Dates:

• July 11, 2020 - The Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park
• July 15, 2020 - EPCOT and Disney Hollywood Park Studios

Other things to know:

• Advanced reservations required
• Face coverings will be required for all guests ages 2 and up
• Temperature screenings will be required in some areas
• Expect modifications to some experiences to allow for physical distancing and limited contact
