The sequel to the Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels classic "Dumb and Dumber" is being filmed in downtown El Paso -- if the Sun City was located in the state of Georgia, that is.

According to the Marietta Daily Journal, the Marietta Square in Marietta, Georgia is being used as a stand in for our downtown. The production company "styled [the square] as El Paso," but if the photos below are any indication, they weren't going for an exact replica of the San Jacinto Plaza.

"Dumb and Dumber To" is set twenty years after Harry and Lloyd's last adventure, and revolves around "the good-hearted yet dimwitted best friends searching for one of their long lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney." There's no word on what kind of mayhem Lloyd and Harry unleash on pseudo-El Paso, but evidently it involves a Zamboni -- you know, because you see those on our streets all the time. The sequel has a 2014 planned release date. In the meantime, you wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?
