The El Paso Rhinos season came to an end this past weekend but before the season came to an end the team decided to pick up the phone and say “Thanks” to a few of the team's fans.

“Earlier this afternoon, the Rhinos called Season Ticket Holders and Sponsors to thank them for their continued support of Rhino Hockey,” read a post shared on the team's Instagram page.

The post went on to say that they wouldn’t be the Rhinos without the best fans in Junior Hockey and some of those fans were very excited to get a call from their favorite hockey players.

One fan commented, “It was nice to have one of my son's favorite Rhino players, Evan Miles, call us today.”

Another fan thanked the team for such a wonderful season saying it was “Such Joy.”

This isn’t the first time El Paso’s only hockey team has shown their appreciation for their fans:

Back in March when the team hosted the first round of Fraser Cup Playoffs, they offered free admission to fans who wanted to head out to the game, and just a week ago the team helped wrap up National Reading month by visiting Berino Elementary School.

After the team read to the students they played some hockey and soccer with the students!

Although the team didn’t get the outcome they wanted for their final game of the season, their fans returned the love to the team by helping the Rhinos collect teddy bears for children in need as part of the teams Teddy Bear Toss in memory of Arnett.

It's safe to say that win or lose, El Paso Rhinos Fans will always cheer on The Rhinos! We'll see you next season, team!
