El Paso residents are invited to join in on the El Paso Public Library’s Virtual Summer Reading Club.

As the novel coronavirus continues, the El Paso Public Library has created a Virtual Summer Reading Club for book enthusiasts young and old.

The Virtual Summer Reading Club which runs now through August 31, 2020, offers the reading club participants to borrow e-books, audiobooks, movies, music, and many more resources from the library’s online services providers.

Registration is now open and anyone with our without a library card can join. Temporary library cards are available and those who do not have a library card may apply for one free of charge on the El Paso Public Library website.

The new Virtual Summer Reading Club program is just one of the El Paso Library’s initiatives this summer as community facilities remain closed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Apart from the Summer Reading Club, the library is providing daily educational events and activities for all ages on its Facebook page with interactive content such as storytime, cooking demonstrations, LEGO challenges, workshops, comedy programs, and much more.
