El Paso Police Officer Shows off His Dance Moves at Texas Special Olympics
One of El Paso's Finest caught on camera showing off his dance moves with a couple of local Special Olympics athletes is getting a lot of Internet love.
The officer, identified by KFOX 14 as Jesus Hernandez, was filmed busting out his sweet dance moves at the opening ceremonies of the 2017 Texas Special Olympics in Arlington, Texas, by El Pasoan Betty Castorena.
Castorena, a board member at The Autism Society of Texas-El Paso per her Facebook profile, captured the moment live on her social media page, and it quickly went viral.
Officer Hernandez told the news station the combination of some tasty beats and getting caught up in the moment led to his impromptu footwork. "They just start playing music...I saw this one kid dancing and I started to dance.”
I feel ya, officer. Sometimes you just gotta dance!
