El Paso Police Arrest 44-Year-Old Man For Sexually Assaulting A 14-Year-Old Girl And Say There Might Be More Victims Out There
El Paso Police arrested a man whom they say sexually assaulted a teenage girl in a westside hotel room, and they believe he may have victimized other girls.
44-year-old Luis Fernando Ramos allegedly met a 14-year-old girl just before 5 a.m. at the Econo Lounge hotel at 7651 N. Mesa, on August 27. The victim told police that the abuse had been going on over the course of several months, since April 16 of this year.
Ramos was arrested on September 4 by police and the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, and now faces a charge of sexual assault of a child. He was booked into the county jail with bail set at $150,000.
Police say they do think this isn't the only child who came in contact with Ramos. They are asking if you know of anyone who might have been victimized by Ramos to call the El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Children unit at 915-838-0049.
