Your furry four-legged friend gets a chance to frolic in the pool with other water-loving canines this weekend thanks to the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department.

The city’s annual “Dog Day Swimming” is this Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11 at Nations Tobin Aquatic Center, 8831 Railroad Dr. in Northeast El Paso.

For two dollars per dog, you and your pooch can splash around in the pool from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. before it closes for the season.

You’ll need copies of your dog’s shot records to participate. Max and Bella will not be allowed to partake in the pooch pool paw-ty with collar tags only. All shot records must show your dog is current on Rabies, Distemper and Parvo.
