The Downtown Art and Farmers Market along with the City of El Paso Museum of Art and Museum of History will take part in the annual KidsPalooza on March 19th in Downtown El Paso.

There will be special activities for kids provided by both museums while the Downtown Art and Farmers Market will move to the Pedestrian Pathway during KidsPalooza. The schedule is as follows:

El Paso Museum of Art

Participants will work with local artists as they demonstrate different art forms. The whole family will have a chance to explore new interests and creative techniques. Visitors will be asked for feedback that will be used to help plan the museum’s summer programs. Festival of Makers from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

El Paso Museum of History

A digital scavenger hunt will teach visitors about El Paso’s history from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The digital wall will be open to capture memories of this visit to the museum including arts and crafts activities throughout the day.

Downtown Art and Farmers Market

The market will move from its usual location on Anthony Street to the Pedestrian Pathway between Santa Fe and Durango with extended hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 70 local artists, craftsmen, produce, and food cottage vendors will be selling handmade art and food items at the market. Breakfast and lunch will be available from food trucks under the Durango Street Bridge.
