El Paso Mom Shares How She Stays Strong After Losing Daughter to Cancer

In honor of Mother's Day, Gloria Cadena, owner of Bomb Beauty Products and videographer, Viridiana Villa created an incredible video series titled, 'Madre-Hood.' This video series honors local mothers who have incredible stories of the struggles they have gone through and how they are living their lives as mothers. The latest video of the series features Suracy.

You might have heard about the heartbreaking story of little Mia, who received so much love from El Pasoans during her fight against stage four Neuroblastoma, from prior media stories. The community came together to mourn when Mia was called back to heaven on July 5th, 2018.

You constantly hear, "no words can describe the pain of losing a child" so Suracy does an incredible job sharing her story as a grieving mother with Bomb Beauty. Mia's strong spirit continues through the foundation set up by her parents, Miracles in Action Foundation - MIA. 

On May 25, 2019 The MIA foundation along with Ratioone.61 will be hosting an event to sponsor three families battling childhood cancer. They will also be honoring the children who gained their wings by hanging banners of them on the ceiling of Ratioone.61. The survivors will be handing out the prizes to the athletes.
