The State of Texas has extended testing with shorter wait times at three El Paso locations through Saturday, August 29.

Testing dates have been extended for COVID-19 testing and wait times have improved, lasting between 15 to 30 minutes. The best time to get tested with shorter wait times occurring in the afternoon. Testing is available 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents do not need an appointment to get tested as tests are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the daily capacity is met at each location, the site will be closed for the day to additional testing.
