The El Paso County Coliseum will transform into a holiday wonderland for a first-ever socially distant drive-thru celebration of all things Christmas.

Drive-Thru Winter Wonderland” will deck out the arena's parking lot into various themes, such as Candyland, Frozen, Old time Christmas Village, Santa's Toy shop, and Wonderland Forrest. The production also includes life size reindeer, Christmas music and a light show, according to the event description.

The drive-thru will open daily from Dec. 19 to Dec. 24 in two-hour time-slots from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Entry is on a first come, first serve general admission basis and cost is $50 per vehicle.

In challenging times like these, we can all use some Christmas magic to brighten up our lives. So, pack up some hot chocolate and sweet treats, pile the kids into the family vehicle, and get into the spirit of the season from the relative safety and comfort of your car.
