Influence El Paso County’s Multiyear Capital Plan And Decide Where The Cities Money Goes!
So many of us every-day citizens are looking for ways to get involved with our local politics, because sometimes politics on the national scale feels like it doesn't really apply to us on the real life level. Well this week, you have an opportunity to make your voice heard and try to make some real change with the way El Paso County spends its money!

What’s Happening?
El Paso County is hosting a series of community feedback sessions from May 29 to June 18, 2024. These sessions are crucial to gather your opinions on specific projects suggested by the County’s Bond Advisory Committee (BoAC). The BoAC is a group of 11 dedicated volunteer citizens appointed to help shape potential bond proposals.
Can’t attend in person? No worries! You can find meeting info and share your thoughts online at capital.epcounty.com.
What Projects Are We Talking About?
From boosting public safety infrastructure to upgrading regional and neighborhood parks, these projects aim to enhance our community. The County Commissioners Court hasn’t decided to pursue the bond yet—they want to hear from you first!
Why Should You Attend?
“These meetings are a fantastic opportunity for residents to explore proposed projects, ask questions, and provide feedback,” says County Chief Administrator Betsy Keller. “Your input will guide the BoAC and Commissioners Court in their recommendations, ensuring the community’s needs are prioritized.”
