‘El Chuco’ Is Finally On the Map

TWITTER USERS PREFER EL CHUCO: City nicknames can help in establishing a communities identity and marketing. El Paso, for example, is often referred to and marketed as The Sun City. But there's another nickname we're known by. One more derisive but used by many regulars and locals. That nickname is El Chuco.

According to InboxQ, a company the specializes in helping business with their Twitter accounts, 66% of Twitter users don't give an actual city as thier location choosing instead to use local nicknames. And by all indications El Pasoans aren't all that into The Sun City. Here now, based on something called geotagged tweets, is what America would look like if it were left up to the 'Twitterverse'.
