A chilling cocktail experience is coming to one of El Paso's spookiest venues, and it's all thanks to the master of horror, Edgar Allan Poe.

By now you've heard of these type of events popping up; Fever events will be bringing a haunted pop up tavern to the Manor at Ten Eleven for a few nights on May 18th, 19th and 20th. It'll be an evening of thrills, chills and, most importantly, cocktails and a spooky atmosphere!

Well, now a new experience is coming to Downtown El Paso and it'll be just as chilling and thrilling.

Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy

The Cortez Ballrooms at 301 N. Mesa will be transformed into the dark and mysterious world of Edgar Allan Poe for two nights; June 2nd and June 3rd. This four part chilling cocktail experience allows you to sip on delicious themed cocktails that are expertly paired with four of Poe's iconic stories. Imagine, sipping on a cocktail while you hear The Tell-Tale Heart inside this venue:

The Cortez Ballrooms in the heart of Downtown El Paso have been renovated to keep up with modern day affairs, but they somehow you can still feel the spirits that have walked the stairs and glanced up at those chandeliers.

The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy experience is $55, your admission includes four specialty cocktails. You can chose the dates:

• Friday, June 2nd.
• Saturday, June 3rd.

And you can choose between two different times:

• 6 P.M. or 8 P.M.

The experience lasts roughly one hour and thirty minutes.
