El Paso senior citizens can take advantage of free medical services that include vaccinations for influenza and pneumonia in December.

Fall weather also means that flu season will be rear its ugly head, so the El Paso Health Department along with the El Paso Fire Department will be providing free blood pressure and glucose screenings, colorectal screening kits, including influenza and pneumonia vaccines.

  • Saturday Dec. 5: Station 17, 8803 Alameda Ave., 8-11 a.m.
  • Thursday Dec. 10: Station 21, 10000 Dyer St., 1-4 p.m.
    (The public has management’s permission to park next door at Wienerschnitzel’s)
  • Tuesday Dec. 15: EPFD Community Center, 5415 Trowbridge Dr., 1-4 p.m.
  • Saturday Dec. 19: Station 4, 1218 Randolph Dr., 8-11 a.m.

Services are free to residents of El Paso and Hudspeth County who are 50 and over and do not have medical insurance or are on Medicaid. We are encouraging seniors who meet these guidelines to take advantage of the program. The goal of the program is to increase the wellness of our senior citizens in our community who do not have access to these services.
