Get your lawn chairs out of storage and fish your comfiest picnic blankets out of the closet because it's outdoor movie time at Ascarate Park again.

El Paso County Parks is hosting a free lake-side screening of the original Jurassic Park movie this Friday, July 27. The event, dubbed "Jurassic Park at Ascarate Park," will include a number of food trucks on site serving up their specialties according to the Facebook event post.

El Pasoans can do the fam thing around the glow of "the largest inflatable screen in the city" set up near the waterfront across from the pavilion while kicking back under the stars for a special screening of the dinosaur classic that started it all.

What to Know Before You Go

• Event space seating begins at 7 p.m.
• The movie will start just after sundown; approximately 8:30 p.m.
