El Paso: Get Rid Of Your Trash HERE!
The El Paso County Public Works is hosting not one, but TWO community clean-up events this weekend, so if you know anybody who needs to toss out some junk, you won't want to miss them! Here’s everything you need to know to make the most out of these community clean-up days.
1. Mark Your Calendars: June 1st!
Grab your planners and set a reminder! The clean-up events will take place on Saturday, June 1st, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. It’s the perfect way to kick off your summer weekend!
2. Two Convenient Locations
Whether you're closer to East Montana or Canutillo, there's a location for you:
- East Montana: 14698 Van Lane, El Paso, TX 79938
- Canutillo: 7351 Bosque Rd, Canutillo, TX 79835
3. Tires
Got some old tires lying around? Bring them in!
CHECK THE LIST FIRST to be sure what kind of tires are accepted!
- Limit: Up to 5 tires per resident.
- Total Collection: Maximum of 1,500 tires for the event.
- Size: Accepted tires must measure 17 inches or smaller.
- Restrictions: No tires from retailers, semi-trucks, equipment trucks, or those with rims.
4. Bulk Trash
Declutter your life and your home by bringing in one pick-up truckload of bulk trash. Think:
- Furniture
- Chairs
- Carpets
- And more!
5. Electronic Waste
Time to part ways with those old gadgets! Accepted electronics include:
- Computers
- Tablets
- Scanners
- Video games
- Cameras
- Radios
- Cellphones
- VCRs and DVD players
6. What's Not Accepted
To avoid any disappointments at the drop-off, remember these items will NOT be accepted:
- CRT monitors
- Televisions
- Tires from retailers, semi-trucks, equipment trucks, or those with rims
7. It’s FREE!
Yes, you read that right! This amazing community service is completely FREE for El Paso County residents.
8. Sort Before You Go
Make sure to sort your bulk waste before arrival. It'll save you time and make the whole process smoother.
