Get Revved Up for Christmas at El Paso-Area Speedway with Santa, S’mores and More
Do you need more Christmas?
There’s just something about the colorful, festive, twinkling lights that lift our spirits — something many of us could use more of.
If Winterfest, Sun City Holiday Lights, and a slow ride through Eastridge is not enough then hit the road towards Las Cruces and make a pit stop at Vado Speedway Park. Vado Speedway, as in the race car place? Yup, that very one.
From holiday inflatable displays and Christmas music to s’mores by the campfire and Santa Claus himself, there’s something for every Christmas junkie at Vado Speedway Park.
The state-of-the-art track on I-10 between El Paso and Las Cruces has been transformed into the Vado Speedway Park Christmas Village featuring all the Yuletide must haves: twinkling Christmas lights, inflatables, holiday music, delicious treats, and appearances from Santa Claus, Buddy the Elf, Grinch, and Elsa who strikes an uncanny resemblance to the character in the “Frozen” movies.
To be clear, this is not a drive-thru light show; it's a walk thru event on the concourse.
Along with the lights and other delights mentioned above, concessions are also a part of your evening stroll through the Christmas Village as are vendor booths with local artisans slinging their wares.
