Check Out El Paso Festival Of Homes Online This Year

One of my favorite things to do is wander through houses and see the layout and how they are decorated. No, I don't go randomly beebopping through stranger's houses - I wait for the Festival of Homes to do that. This year, unfortunately, the Festival of Homes has to be a virtual tour because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even though I'm not looking for a new home, I love walking through them. That new house smell! The perfectly painted walls and impossibly clean bathrooms! Plus I love seeing how the designers put together the decor of the individual houses. Even if you're not in the market, it's cool to see what's available and who knows, you might find something that you can't live without and end up buying a new home anyway.

According to the Festival of Homes Facebook page they will be online from October 16 - November 1. You'll be able to tour eight new homes, each with their own style, floor plan, and architecture from eight different El Paso home builders. You'll be able to check out their smart home technology and the ways they've made the homes energy efficient. All of the homes are in the Tierra Del Este 74 community on the east side.

To get the digital access to the Festival of Homes, you need to sign up online. When you sign up you will get a passcode via email when the festival begins on October 16.
