The 12th annual Chalk The Block returns with an amazing artist lineup in downtown El Paso.

Beginning October 11 through October 13th, the Museums and Cultural Affairs Department presents Chalk The Block in and around the Arts Festival Plaza in downtown El Paso.

The family-friendly and free event not only includes chalk art but also entertainment including theatrical performances, live music, and dance and interactive art installations.

This year Chalk The Block welcomes guest artists from El Paso, New York, Detroit and many more including:

  • Los Trompos: Creators: Esrawe + Cadena; Owners: Dte Energy Beacon Park Foundation and the Downtown Detroit Partnership
  • Red, White, Blue-Green: Julia Jamrozik and Coryn Kempster, Buffalo, New York
  • Pneumatica: Squonk, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Painted Pianos: Various Artists, El Paso
  • Mural Walk: Curated by Kalavera Culture Shop, Various Artists, El Paso
