Casting Call: Male Actor Wanted

A local film studio is seeking a male actor for the lead in the production of Lewin.

Bored Film Studies is on the search for a male actor to fill the role of Lewin. The storyline according to their Facebook page describes the character description as:

"A Jewish elder revered for a military victory over Rome. Lewin lives in seclusion on the outskirts of society avoiding recognition. His face heavily scarred from an illness he suffered long ago and he covers his face with bandages to hide them. Lewin’s family was killed by bandits years ago but he has made peace with God and eagerly awaits his salvation."

Role Specifications:

• Male 25-50 years of age
• Ability to play a younger or older version of himself
• Physical, athletic stature
• Willingness to learn sword choreography
• Open availability
• This is a paid role

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 3400 Fort Blvd. Interested applicants will need to send an email with a headshot before the audition to wesleyjward@utexas.edu
