Watch Camila Cabello Surprise Houston Rodeo Crowd with Selena Cover

Artists performing at the 2019 Houston Rodeo have been giving The Queen of Tejano Music her due.

One week after Kacey Musgraves’ version of Selena's Como la Flor went viral, Camila Cabello is getting lots of online love for her heartfelt tribute to the beloved Tex-Mex legend.

Sporting thigh high boots, corset and black leather gloves Cabello surprised the crowd at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Tuesday night (3/5) with a cover of Selena's first crossover hit, the English-language ballad Dreaming of You.

Camila is the latest Rodeo act to honor “The Queen” this year -- 24 years after her third and final Houston Rodeo Astrodome concert revered by Latinos worldwide and vividly remembered by attendees for both her energetic performance and the now iconic sparkling purple jumpsuit.

Besides Musgraves’ and Cabello’s musical hat tip, Prince Royce sang No Me Queda Mas, and Cardi B paid tribute backstage on Instagram singing and dancing along to Como la Flor.
