UPDATE: KVIA is reporting a woman made a "false report" of a robbery to cause the precautionary lockdown.

As more information comes in, the El Paso Police are reporting Franklin High School, Polk and Guerrero Elementary are on lockdown as a precautionary measure, do to a suspect on the run, according to the El Paso Times.

Reports of a robbery, which occurred in the area of Bishop Flores Drive and Martha Gala, have caused the schools to go on lockdown since the suspect reportedly has a gun. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene of the crime and police are attempting to find the suspect.

We have no other information as of now, but we will keep an eye on the situation. If you do have a child at this school, please contact the school to receive any info in regards to the lockdown.
