‘Brady’ Mom Reveals She Once Got Crabs from the Mayor of New York

Florence Henderson makes one heck of a revelation in her upcoming memoir, "Life Is Not a Stage". The former ‘Carol Brady’ writes that during the 1960s, she had a one-night stand with the then-mayor of New York, John Lindsay! Making things worse was the fact that they were both married. But even worse than that, he gave her crabs!!! The Brady Bunch mom, now 77, writes, "I was lonely. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do. So, what did I do? I did it." She goes on the reveal that later that night she awoke to "little black things" crawling over her bed and body. After a doctor diagnosed her with pubic lice, Mayor Lindsay sent her a bouquet of flowers and a note of apology.

Elsewhere in the book, Florence shoots down the rumor that she had a relationship with or even just went on a date with her onscreen son, Barry Williams; Aka Greg Brady.

"Barry did have a serious crush on me, which I understood and helped him get past.” She writes. “Let us just say that if he had entertained a roll in the hay with me, I would never have done it." She adds that she and Barry remain good friends to this day. "Life Is Not a Stage" comes out this September.
