Blind New Mexico Dog Needs a Home

Raj is only five years old, but he has been through a lot and now he is needing a loving home to take him in.

Raj was a very unfortunate pup who was chained up most of his life living in what was described as a junkyard in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He lived with two other dogs who were also chained up in the yard.

Recently in his unfit home, the dogs were poisoned and Raj is the only survivor. Life is still a struggle for Raj because now he is completely blind and needs help with daily life until he is better acquainted. He lost an eye a few years ago and his other eye was removed because of an infection.

Raj is now beginning a new life out of danger and looking for the perfect puppy parents to help him transition into a new life. He is up for adoption at the Animal Humane's main campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
