Halloween Classics That Still Dominate the Billboard Charts
One of my fondest Halloween memories as a kid (aside from collecting delicious candy) was grabbing my little radio in my room, opening my room window, and blasting Michael Jackson's “Thriller” full blast as the kids in my neighborhood did their trick-or-treating. I always felt like that was the ultimate Halloween song to get you in the spooky spirit.
However, according to Billboard there’s a new list of spooky hits that are the biggest Halloween songs in Hot 100 history. Thriller didn’t make the list so I don’t fully believe this list, but that’s also just my biased opinion. See if you agree with this spooky halloween list.

From ‘Monster Mash’ to Rihanna: The Top Halloween Anthems
1. “Monster Mash” – Bobby “Boris” Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers (#1)
The blueprint of Halloween songs. Released in 1962 and still eating every October. If this doesn’t play at your party, is it even Halloween?
2. “Ghostbusters” – Ray Parker Jr. (#1)
Let’s be real — the second that funky beat drops, everyone in the room yells “Who you gonna call?” in unison. Instant serotonin.
3. “Frankenstein” – The Edgar Winter Group (#1)
No lyrics, no problem. This instrumental hit has pure monster energy. Bonus points if you air guitar with a broomstick.
4. “The Monster” – Eminem feat. Rihanna (#1)
A certified banger for anyone battling their inner demons and their ex’s text messages.
5. “Somebody’s Watching Me” – Rockwell (#2)
Paranoia has never sounded so good. The ultimate “someone just liked my story but didn’t text me back” vibe.
