Congressman Beto O'Rourke will be in town this weekend for a town hall in Horizon City and an appearance in El Paso. O'Rourke will be in Horizon City at the Horizon High School gymnasium, 14651 Horizon Boulevard, on Friday, August 31, from 11:00 a.m. - noon.

O'Rourke's visit to Horizon is part of his August road trip around the state. He is meeting with constituents and voters to share details on how he plans to keep Texas moving forward. If you want to attend the town hall, you can click here for the link to RSVP.

O'Rourke is also scheduled to be at the 501 Bistro at 501 Texas Avenue on Friday, 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. O'Rourke's campaign is gathering steam, and if you want to ask him questions, these are the times to do it.

Ted Cruz's campaign said that they had offered debate dates including one that would have happened in Dallas, but O'Rourke's campaign said that they had never agreed to the dates. They also said that they didn't want debates to happen on Friday nights because they didn't want to take people away from Friday night football games.

It's not known when Cruz and O'Rourke will debate ahead of the November election.
