Beto O’Rourke Was Asked Out To Prom

Beto O’Rourke was asked to go to prom during a recent stop in Iowa.

Democratic presidential nominee Beto O’Rourke was in Sioux City, Iowa when he was asked out to prom by a young lady in the crowd.

Beto is asked by the girl in the crowd if he would like to go to the prom with her and he responded:

- First of all, as someone who did not go to prom because no one asked me – I’m really touched, this means more to me than you know. But somebody told me about your sign so we came up with a counter-proposal (holding up a sign)

- So will you caucus for me?

- You’re in? (Audience girl says something unintelligible)

- Ok, I like that – Thank you so much!

So there you have it – Beto never went to prom but I hope audience member girl does get to go and maybe one day she’ll pop up a future Beto caucus too.
