U.S. News: These El Paso High Schools Rank as Best in the County
U.S. News & World Report has handed El Paso-area high schools their report cards.
Early College and Charter high schools dominate the list of top public high schools in El Paso County according to the 2022 rankings.
The rankings are part of their annual Best High Schools report which ranks schools using several factors including reading and math proficiency, their performance on state-required tests, graduation rates, and how well they prepare students for college.
Early Colleges Dominate
The five best public high schools in El Paso are all Early College High Schools with Valle Verde Early College taking the top spot. San Elizario High School is the only traditional high school in the top ten.
