74 people have overdosed on heroin in the past 72 hours in Chicago.

Police are suspecting a bad batch of heroin as the cause of the massive overdose within 72-hours. Officials suspect the bad batch of heroin may have been laced with the painkiller Fentanyl. Doctors at Stroger Hospital are worried because the standard treatment for heroin overdoses isn't immediately working. This seems to be because of the mix with the painkiller causing an adverse reaction with the treatment.

The DEA is helping police in Chicago as they try to track down on the source of the bad batch of drugs.
