Anthony, New Mexico to Open First MVD Office This Year

The city of Anthony, New Mexico has entered into a contract with the Motor Vehicle Division to open up their very own office by the end of this year. Making a 30 minute drive just to get a small license or registration matter handled will be a thing of the past.

Plans for the new Motor Vehicle Division office will be for the office to be added inside of Anthony City Hall at 820 N.M. Hwy 478. A section of the city hall will be remodeled with the new office plans in mind in about 4 weeks.

Anthony residents will be able to get their driver's license, identification cards, registrations, transfer ownership of vehicle titles and pretty much any other service provided by the MVD.

The new MVD office will be expected to have 3 - 5 help windows so customers are expected to have short waits. This opening of the new office will also open up a few new jobs in the Anthony community. If you are looking for job information, you can contact Steve Ramirez at 575-541-5452.
