After taking 2020 off and going mostly virtual because of the pandemic, A Christmas Fair returns the weekend of November 5.

I know, I know, that’s technically Thanksgiving’s time to shine, but it is never too early to start thinking about or shopping for Christmas.

Sorry, not sorry, Turkey Day.

“We are incredibly excited for this event to return in-person,” the Junior League of El Paso – organizers of the holiday-themed event – announced recently in a press release.

The 2021 edition of A Christmas Fair will be held Nov. 5-7 at the El Paso Convention Center. As in previous years, merchants and vendors from El Paso and the region are expected to participate in selling a wide range of gifts, jewelry, arts, crafts, and decorations.

It’s not only the perfect place to get into the spirit of the holiday shopping season, it's the perfect time to start checking friends and family off your Christmas list.

“It’s the Sweetest Time of the Year” is the theme this year, so expect “gumdrops, lollipops, and candy canes galore.”

Special events this year include The Confectionery, a “kid sensory play experience.” Traditional features such as the V.I.P. shopping night the evening before it opens, and story-time and photos with Santa will return.

Considered a local Yuletide tradition, A Christmas Fair has kicked off the holiday season in El Paso for the past 48 years.
