CARE (Cancer Aid Resource & Education) in Las Cruces is celebrating their 3rd event year and hosting La Gran Fiesta! La Gran Fiesta is CARE’s largest fundraising event of the year servicing cancer patients with assistance in non-medical needs like groceries, travel costs and more.

Saturday, September 22nd you can expect to see Tejano Star and brother of the late Selena, A.B. Quintanilla as a headliner in assisting fundraising efforts. Quintanilla will hit the stage at 10pm and tickets are $25 each at the gate or at eventbrite.com. There are still meet & greet passes available for $100. Kids under 10 are free!

I spoke with CARE Board Member Denise LaFrance Ojinaga where she explained that all proceeds go to cancer patients and that Camp CARE is made up entirely of volunteers. Be prepared for food vendors, local musicians, fun & entertainment, activities for kids and of course A.B Quintanilla to headline La Gran Fiesta. You can listen to my conversation with Denise LaFrance Ojinaga below.
