Texas is a HUGE state so of course; naturally, there are MANY different companies to spawn out of the state. Whether they're food brands or restaurant chains, here are 10 that I'm sure you're quite familiar with:

Whataburger: El Paso LOVES Whataburger. And that goes for the whole state. It started life as a small 50s burger restaurant in Corpus Cristi, now it's one of the state's favorite restaurants. They even have their own Whataburger Museum of Art that people can submit their own custom fan art.

Rudy's: A favorite place for BBQ in Texas, Rudy's B-B-Q was founded in San Antonio in 1989. Today there's locations all over the Southwest, Colorado, Oklahoma.

Fuddruckers: Fuddruckers in Houston has certainly made a name for their burgers; not only have they've been in shows like Family Guy, they were the first burger chain to have an African American owner.

Cicis: Of course I had to mention a pizza place on this list; Cicis Pizza was founded in Plano & its main headquarters is currently located in Coppell, TX. You can even find some of their really old commercials on YouTube.

Wingstop: Founded nearly 30 years ago in 1994, Wingstop was founded in Garland & its headquarters are in Addison/Dallas. So far it's the only place I know with plane parts next to or above you while you eat. Plus... Rick Ross loves Wingstop.

Dave & Busters: The arcade/restaurant combo was founded in Dallas back in 1982. 40 years later, they're still around with plenty of people stopping by to eat & play.

Dickey's Barbeque Pit: Texas loves barbeque; since 1941 Dickey's Barbeque Pit has been one of the biggest chains throughout the state.

Jim's Restaurants: One of the oldest Texas chains is the burger joint Jim's Restaurants founded in 1947 in San Antonio. There's not many left but there still are a few around Texas.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm hungry.
