It is said that this place was a church before it became a community theatre. The Double Eagle
The Carlotta Room is reportedly haunted by ghosts with a tragic story of forbidden love and murder. A young master fell in love with one of the servants of the house and when his mother found out, she went into a mindless rage and stabbed the young girl to death. The young suitor was accidentally struck by his own mother when he leaped in to defend his lady love. This café has been around since 1937 and was built right across from the Concordia Cemetery on Missouri. Monteleone's Ristorante
This haunted restaurant was recently featured by the cable television network SYFY Channel. Apparently, they have discovered three friendly ghosts on the premises. Acoording to a local psychic the bar was built on the grounds of a spiritual nondenominational church that opened a portal allowing spirits to enter.
