Get Your Ticket To Support The 48HR Film Project Premiere!
After a wild weekend of caffeine, chaos, and creative madness, the El Paso 48 Hour Film Project is ready to hit the big screen. Every team’s short film, including our very own KISS FM production, “Radio Silence,” will premiere at El Paso Premiere LUX Cine 17 IMAX on Tuesday, October 15th.
This is your chance to see what happens when filmmakers, actors, and editors from across the city race the clock to write, shoot, and edit an entire short film in just two days. Some made comedies, others made dramas, and a few of us may have accidentally created cinematic fever dreams.
“Radio Silence” Hits the Big Screen
If you’ve been following along, you already know how proud we are of our short film, Radio Silence. It’s an experimental sci-fi thriller that follows a local radio DJ hunted by mysterious creatures who control sound, and yes, it’s as weird and fun as it sounds.
The film stars yours truly, Grizz, alongside my co-host Iris, who absolutely crushed it as my co-star, and my cousin Elijah, who helped bring the visual madness to life. But none of it would have been possible without Intern Al, our director of photography and editor, who co-created and developed the story with me from the very beginning. She brought an incredible eye, endless creativity, and serious technical skill that made Radio Silence come to life.

What started as a sleepless idea turned into one of the most rewarding creative experiences I’ve ever been part of, and now we finally get to share it with El Paso on the big screen.
