By now, even if you don't live in El Paso, you've probably seen the story about a group of local teens dressed in klan robes at a house party. Even Ron Stallworth, the El Pasoan who got a whole movie about him fighting the KKK, was not amused.

The whole situation involving the outfits has reached multiple national news outlets which is kind of embarrassing. Especially since the next news story from El Paso that went global involved the local chair of the Republican Party claiming he was gonna sue Sacha Baron Cohen for the shameful things he did on camera. Oh also, the movie came out and the stuff he did was like 100x worse than any of the articles about it described. 'Ali G: Who Iz I?' is out now, go see it for yourself!

We are not winning, El Paso. We are not winning. So SNL took a quick jab at us and it is unfortunately a pretty funny joke. Michael Che hit on both the idea of migrants passing through the border because of where we live as well as a joke about the best way to be accepted in America. It was a pretty smart joke. At our expense mostly but hey, if you were one of the people who thought the KKK robes were just a funny Halloween costume, then this joke shouldn't be offensive to anyone? Right?

Hopefully El Paso makes news for something more positive soon. We broke early voting records!! That's something for sure and definitely something to be proud of considering we SHATTERED our previous record! No matter where you stand on the issue one thing is for sure: everything is gonna change in November. That's when Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out.
